100-Day Practice Challenge:  September 2-December 10

Collecting donations for the Global Heartstrings project of the Rachel Barton Pine Foundations…donations of used instruments, music, and other accessories to music study are welcome from everyone in the community to benefit musicians in Nigeria, Haiti, and other countries where need is present.

Concluding public concert of movie and other theme music on Friday, December 19 at 4:30, location TBA.

Scary Strings:  Friday, October 31, 4:45-5:15, The Lyric Theater, Blacksburg

Community Cello Works cellists (in costume!) perform cello ensemble favorites onstage at the Lyric during Downtown Blacksburg’s Halloween festivities, right before the costume-judging competition.

Fall Studio Recital:  Friday, November 13, 4:00 p.m.
